Serving alcohol in catering establishments

You need a liquor and hospitality license if you sell alcoholic beverages on a commercial basis or for a fee. This license is required by the Alcohol Act. The mayor issues the permit.
You must have the liquor and hospitality license changed when you change manager(s).
Would you like to serve alcohol temporarily, for example at an event? Then you need a temporary license.

To apply for a liquor and catering license, make an appointment with the liquor license official. He or she will inform you further. Your application will be tested against the BIBOB Act (Wet Bevordering Integriteitsbeoordelingen door het Openbaar Bestuur).
