Our house rules at City Hall
Gemert-Bakel Municipality considers it important to receive its visitors hospitably and in a positive and safe atmosphere. We have therefore established a number of house rules. This keeps the town hall a pleasant and safe place for everyone.
House Rules
- No smoking, no alcohol and no drugs;
- No aggression, weapons, violence and destruction;
- Do not curse, threaten and discriminate;
- Do not talk loudly on the phone and do not call at counters;
- Assistance dogs are welcome; other pets must wait outside;
- It is not allowed to take photos or make (sound) recordings;
- Please note that our buildings are equipped with camera surveillance.
We make sure everyone follows the house rules. Are you not doing this? Then we will speak to you about it. If you still do not follow the rules, we will ask you to leave the building. Depending on the offense, this may result in:
- We stop our services.
- You receive a written warning.
- In case of repeat or serious violations, you are not welcome in municipal facilities for a certain period of time.
- In cases of violence, aggression or property damage, we always file a report.
- We hold you liable for damages.
The house rules on our social media channels
Gemert-Bakel Municipality informs the public about relevant issues and developments through Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. People can also share their opinions, critical voices and comments through these platforms. To keep the interaction pleasant and constructive for everyone, we ask everyone to observe the following rules:
- Treat each other nicely on the municipal social media channels. Threatening, swearing, hateful behavior and hurtful behavior is unnecessary on the platforms.
- Respect each other's opinions and privacy. Do not share personal and/or privacy-sensitive information on municipal social media channels.
- Do you post inappropriate messages on the channels more than once? Then we may block you as a user.
- Does your post not comply with these rules? Then we may delete your post.
- Personal redirections to employees of Gemert-Bakel municipality on our social media channels will be removed.
