<p><span>The bike path will be widened, provided with (new) asphalt and where possible placed slightly further away from the road. The work will be carried out in phases from the N277 towards Milheeze and is expected to last until at least the end of 2026:</span></p><ul><li><span>Phase 1: Landmeter van Beurdenweg</span></li><li><span>Phase 2: Peeldijk from Hazenhutsedijk to Schoutsebaan</span></li><li><span>Phase 3: Peeldijk from Schoutsebaan to Bultweg</span></li><li><span>Phase 4: Peeldijk from Bultweg to traffic circle Milheeze</span></li></ul><p><span>This means that the Peeldijk will have very limited access for through traffic throughout 2026. A detour has been set up. Contractor Adriaans from Milheeze is carrying out this work.</span></p>

In March 2026 work started on refurbishing the bike path along the Peeldijk (Milheeze) and Landmeter van Beurdenweg (De Rips).
