Monument Savings Fund

Monument owners can apply for part of their paid OZB as a subsidy. This subsidy is for the maintenance of the monument.

How does an application proceed?

  • Are you the new owner of a monument or is your property designated as a municipal monument? Then you can become a member of the Monumentenwacht Noord-Brabant. The Monumentenwacht will make an appointment with you to inspect the monument. This is done periodically.
  • The subscription and inspection costs of the Monument Watch are paid by the municipality. Contact the Image Quality and Monuments policy officer for this.
  • The results are made up in a report that is sent to both you and the municipality.
  • As an owner you can now apply for a subsidy from the monument savings fund. To do so, fill out the application form contribution from the monument savings fund. The amount of the subsidy is 50% of the owner's portion of the property tax paid in the previous year.
