The Environment Act ensures that you as a resident will be involved earlier and more actively in plans in your neighborhood. How exactly that happens can vary from situation to situation. Governments are obliged to involve residents when making certain plans, such as an environmental vision or environmental plan. Even if someone else -an initiator- has a plan, he or she is encouraged to involve local residents.
