Subsidy scheme emergency fund cultural volunteer organisations

Are you in a cultural volunteer organization? And is it facing large financial shortfalls? So big that it even threatens the existence of the organization? Then the municipality now has a subsidy scheme "emergency fund cultural volunteer organizations" to help.

Subsidy

What is this subsidy for?

The grant is there to help cultural volunteer organizations when they face large financial shortfalls.

Who is the grant for?

The grant is for cultural associations, foundations or groups that:

  • Run entirely by volunteers.
  • Do not want to earn money with their activities.
  • Making art together, doing cultural activities together or encouraging residents of Gemert-Bakel to do so.
What conditions must you meet?
  • The grant may only be used to reduce operating deficits. This means that the costs of an organization are higher than the revenues. The deficit can be seen in the profit and loss account.
  • The deficit has arisen as a result of an unforeseen event. This is an event over which the organization had no control and could not have thought of beforehand with reason.
  • The deficit is so large that the organization may not be able to continue to exist .

When do we reject the application?
  • The organization has enough of its own money to cover the deficit.
  • The costs can be paid in another way. For example, by an insurance or other organization.
  • The organization itself does not co-pay.
  • The organization has previously applied for the same costs.
  • The same organization in the past 2 years has already received subsidy based on the Subsidy Scheme Emergency Fund Cultural Organizations Gemert-Bakel 2025.
How much subsidy do you get?

The organization receives a maximum of € 5000 per organization per year. The organization never gets more money than its deficit in that year.
