Application form transition fund
Do you want to demolish farm buildings or make room for a new development?
The transition fund provides financial support for projects that improve the quality of the outlying area. The municipality uses this fund to enable developments that contribute to a better landscape and a future-proof outlying area.
Transition Fund
What can the transition fund be used for?
The fund can be used for:
- demolition of vacant agricultural buildings
- demolition of low mink farm sheds
- demolition of greenhouses
- demolition of structures other than buildings
- Support physical consideration in housing development
- in some cases expansion or adaptation of a non-agricultural business
In doing so, the municipality follows the amounts and conditions outlined in the Provincial Policy Rule Maatwerk Omgevingskwaliteit(external link).
What are the Transition Fund's grant requirements?
The grant can be made under the conditions:
- All buildings to be demolished listed in the application will be demolished and disposed of by the applicant, including the removal of the building's furnishings to serve the former use. If there are wells, foundations and other underground facilities on the parcel that are used in conjunction with the buildings to be demolished for which reimbursement is sought, then these facilities must also be demolished and disposed of. Furthermore, the soil left behind must be leveled.
- Demolition takes place in accordance with the applicable legal requirements, and according to the conditions that apply to demolition notification or environmental permit activity demolition.
- The area is measured along the outside of the facades or to the center of the dividing walls. In doing so, the area is projected perpendicularly downward to the average ground level (finished area) surrounding the building;
- It concerns buildings in the outlying area of the municipality of Gemert-Bakel that have been legally erected and, if applicable, built with building and/or environmental permits.
- Demolished buildings may not be replaced with new buildings.
- The threshold is at least 250m2 of farm building, 500m2 of non-building construction and/or 500m2 of low mink sheds demolished.
